Saying Goodbye

Our pets are part of our family and as pet owners ourselves, we know that saying goodbye is inevitably a sad and distressing time for the whole family.

Here at Grange Vets we will do everything we can to make the end of life process run as smoothly as possible to ease you through this difficult period.

When the time comes please feel free to ring our experienced team to discuss your needs and they will readily talk you through the various options available to best suit your individual requirements. Some people prefer to come into the surgery for that final moment while others would rather have a vet visit their home. Whatever your choice there will be a sensitive discussion between you and your vet so the needs of both you and your pet can be best met.

You will have the opportunity to be with your pet for his/her final moments or if you would prefer not to be there, the vet will handle the process with dignity and care taking your considerations into account every step of the way.

You will also have the chance to talk through with a member of our team whether you want your much-loved pet buried at home in the garden or handled by Pet Cremations Services. The choice is yours. Each case is different and here at Grange Veterinary Surgery we will support you treating you and your pet as individuals with the utmost care and consideration right up to the end. Both you and your pets well-being is paramount to us.
